Karl Johan
The Karl Johan art style is another Swedish development of the empire
style.
The style has got its name from the Swedish regent Jean Baptiste
Bernadotte, who took the name Karl XIV Johan when he was crowned
in 1811.
The style is simpler than the empire and the chandeliers are characterized
by a glass bowl or plate at the bottom.
